Hot Tub Stargazing, Outdoor Cinema & Game Court

Positive: The floor plan of the house is excellent—very spacious, and the furnishings and decor are comfortable and well thought out. We especially loved that the front door uses a code lock, so there’s no need for keys. There is a large dining table where everyone can sit together after dinner, chat, and relax—it’s a very comfortable and welcoming space. It is very close to Joshua Tree National Park, which makes it a great location. We also really enjoyed the pickleball court. Overall, the vacation home matched the photos shown online. Negative: The kitchen range hood was broken, the induction cooktop in the casita was not working, and the jacuzzi in the master bedroom was also out of order. When we discovered these issues, we contacted the host. He replied politely, saying that he was still waiting for parts, which was a bit disappointing. Aren’t these things supposed to be checked and confirmed to be in working order before guests arrive? Then the host went on to say that he could offer us compensation, but asked if we could avoid writing a negative review. This is something I find very unacceptable.

The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. The house is close to the park entrance and restaurants. We unfortunately visited during one of the few rainy days, so we didn’t make use of the many available activities around the house.

The VRBO was everything the description listed and more. Zack and Bex were amazing hosts that responded promptly, and even provided us an early check in for free. I would recommend this VRBO to everyone

Good setup for family gatherings

Would book again! Positive: I like that this place is kid friendly and large enough to sleep / accommodate a lot of people. We were looking to stargaze in the desert for the weekend, with the comfort of home amenities, and this house allowed us to do just that. The owners were very nice and answered all our questions prior to our trip and during our stay. This was a nice weekend getaway for me and my family. I would book here again.
